We at Great Northern Endodontics are dedicated to provide gentle treatment with care and compassion. Endodontic treatment does not have to be an uncomfortable experience. We understand that the words "root canal" can make some people uneasy. With modern and competent treatment, discomfort and anxiety need not be a part of your experience. By taking time to listen to our patients and address your concerns, we take pleasure in relieving you of the normal uneasiness associated with your endodontic needs.
Dr. Cameron Townsend
Dr. Cameron Townsend was born and raised in Dunsmuir, a small town in Northern California. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2004. Following graduation, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Scott Air Force Base in Southern Illinois.
Dr. Townsend and his wife, Kari, then moved to Texas, where he practiced general dentistry for two years. He later returned to Marquette University to pursue advanced specialty training, earning both a Master of Science (MS) degree and a Certificate in Endodontics.
Dedicated to excellence in patient care, Dr. Townsend remains deeply committed to continuing education, regularly attending advanced training courses and staying current with the latest techniques and technology in endodontics.
Dr. Townsend and Kari have been married for 25 years and are the proud parents of three sons and three daughters.
Dr. Jeffrey Clark
Dr. Clark has a rich and diverse background that sets him apart in the field of endodontics. Growing up in the greater Billings area, he initially pursued studies in music before finding his true calling in dentistry. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2012 and embarked on a distinguished career in the United States Navy. During his seven years of service, he gained invaluable experience in general dentistry, including completing a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in 2013.
In 2021, he completed his endodontic residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, earning an MS in oral biology. Following his residency, Dr. Clark provided exceptional endodontic care for three years to service members at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and local residents of New Bern, North Carolina.
Dr. Clark’s commitment to excellence is demonstrated by his status as a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a distinction held by only 30% of endodontists. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Montana Dental Association. His dedication to staying at the forefront of his field ensures that he brings the latest advancements in endodontic care to his patients.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the beautiful Montana outdoors, reading, hiking, and indulging in his love for music. His diverse interests reflect the same dedication and precision he brings to his dental practice.

Insurance and Payment
Your dental benefits are based on the agreement your employer established with your insurance carrier. Please review the insurance benefit booklet provided by your employer to better understand the benefits they make available as part of your insurance coverage. The patient payment portion covered for procedures varies depending on the coverage provided by your employer.

An estimate of the amount covered by your insurance company will be provided at the time of your treatment, based on the information they provide to us. The estimate is never a guarantee of benefits or the amount that will be paid. We will file all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. The fee for your endodontic treatment will be based on the extent of treatment needed determined at the time of Dr. Townsend's or Dr. Clark's evaluation. Please call the office for current pricing.

Dr. Townsend is an in-network service provider for Allegiance insurance.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and CareCredit. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients; therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Our friendly staff is standing by to help you manage your dental care.

If you are experiencing a dental emergency, we want to see you and will make the best effort to schedule your treatment as soon as possible. For patients of record, please call the number listed on your post op forms. For all other emergencies, please call the office number below.
